My visit to Alton Towers on 24/08/03 was very sucessful! i went with my best mate! We entered the park @ 9:00
as we are annual pass holders and we get in half an hour before everyone else!
At first we went to AIR we queued for approx 10-15 min and we were off! We then walked
to duel however it doesn't open until 10:00am so we walked to the Runaway Mine Train and queued for 20 mins before the ride
opened. We got on that when it opened and the ride goes around the circuit twice! Then we decided to go to the Log Flume and
we parctically walked on. It is a good time to go as it was dull weather but walm and noone was going on it. The Ride has
3 drops the first a mini drop, the second a larger drop in the dark tunnel and then the final drop! You dont get very wet
at all! We then decided to go and hve dinner. I had a KFC and my mate had a Pizza Hut which is sittuated by the Runnaway Mine
Train and another by Oblivion! After dinner we went to the 3D cinema and then headed of to the Kongo River Rapids,
We practically walked on. The boats are Yellow and hold a max of 6 people. You get a bit more wet on this ride but not
to much! We then went to the sky ride to catch the gondala to UG Land and hex. We went on Hex which we walked on and this

We then went on Toyland Tours a ride designed for little kids but it is good for the Adults to! There
are no rides in UG Land we like so we decided to make our way to the adventure land section and passed the
the Spinball Wizzer site Click HERE for more info! We looked at the times to see Webmaster and then went to Ribena Berry Bish Bash (NEW for 2003) Click HERE for more info! However we were to tall to go on it so we just watched for a bit then went on River Bank Eye Spy!
Next we went to watch Webmaster an adventure on ice! Which is a show on ice about using your imagination! We
then took the cable cars to Forbidden Valley and went to ride on Duel. We queued for approx 10 mins. Click HERE for more info.
We had now done everything we wanted to so we walked to Squril Nutty Ride. We thrn went to Towers
Trading Co the main Alton Towers Shop! We had a look around and then we left the park for home! The rides closed at 7:00pm
as it is summer but we cames home early as it was to hot and we had done everything!
